Why the K series chip with an H97 board? Weird combo since you can't overclock on the H series boards.

Also skip the 970...

Go with a GTX1070 if your budget allows or pick the budget RX480

I think the Intel 4xxx gen is a very good choice price/perf wise, it's quite a sweet spot right now.

Decide whether you want to overclock the CPU. If it it's not your cup of tea to extract an additional 15-20% performance in the future with that, then take a non-K. But, an OC is easily done so if the K version is about equal in price, go for it and get a Z97 motherboard for it. It will pay off, games like fast cores above anything else.

Lose the 970, get an RX 480 or up the budget and go for the 1070 or a cheap/used 980ti - but if you can wait on that 1070 for another month or so, do it, because prices will likely drop a little bit when its less scarce.

FWIW, you can also save on the CPU by taking the i5 (K or non-K, again depending on your overclocking wishes) and put that money towards GPU.

With the i5 and a 1070 you will be pushing 85-100+ fps at 1080p in a pretty wide range of recent games, to give you an idea, so that's pretty beastly.

Looks like a prebuild, the tag lines were written 2 years ago.

Devils canyon is still a great CPU tho, but unless you were getting a cracking deal on that 970, Id go for the 1060/1070 as the budget allows.

Yeah, anybody can copy an ad from Bibango classifieds or Activation Key - $1300 worth of somebody else's mistakes - but you won't take good advice anyway, so I won't waste my breath. Well, here's one piece of advice for you - get a clue about the subject before you ask stupid questions on serious forums. Go to Tomshardware.com, maybe those guys won't mind wasting their time. Or perhaps spend an hour just looking at Newegg's site, you'll learn 100x what you know now.

From time I bought PS4 I'm sure that consoles are the best for gaming. You don't care about the requirements of the game, just sit front of the TV with gamepad and enjoy. Highly recommend that :) And just buy regular notebook/PC to surfing.

I don't say that consoles are better than PC but very ofen it's just easier and more comfortable solution. I don't care about nothing, don't need to change hardware every year, install directx and other stuff. Chill guys, didn't want to make you angry with my first posts :D

Peace :toast:

This is unnecessary, and frankly it's far worse than stupid questions. Please either be polite or dont say anything.

That system is fine, but as others have said, it's not a great choice, and you definitely shouldnt pay 1200 for it. Within that proce range you have a lot of options though, more info on your location, game preferences, and time frame for purchase would help out a lot.
