If you had just one game to play for the rest of your life, what would it be?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - because you can MOD the hell out of it and change it to multiple different games.
ALSO: the best Euro-jank and Memes-creating game out there. :D:rockout:

I think I would get burned out on just one game but I guess the game Alpha Centauri from 1999 would be my choice if I had to make such a choice as one game for the rest of my life.

TWWH series. It is my Kryptonite. I read plenty of Fantasy novels as a kid, so using a Dragon's breath to mow down a row of Archers is right up my alley. Now there is Immortal Empires coming with something ridiculous like 250+ factions with a Map that could easily go into 500+ turns to have Total domination. Did I mention it's fun and cerebral at the same time?

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition. Tons of replay ability with that game and they continue to add expansion packs

Minecraft due to its moddability and virtually limitless possibilities in how it can be played.

black desert online probably

Desert island game = an original Gameboy and Tetris, but I like Minecraft too as a forever option.

Skyrim most likely and mod the heck out of it.
If not that then probably an MMO I enjoy playing and make bunch of alt chars/grind out end game content with them.

That being said, I would get burned out eventually but those would last the longest.

It would have to be something with random maps that changed every time, eg, Age of Empires 2 or Don't Starve.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Never gets boring.

That's cheating, those are 3 games :)

I think mine would be DOTA2. I'm already a good 2300 hours in. Still not entirely bored. Still tons of heroes to explore...

Only one game? Rust.

I'm more interested though in the why of the matter...

7 days to die. Has a lot of replay value
I was hard-pressed to select Rust over 7 Days to die. Both games are great and 7d2d might be the better option for just the blood moon, considering the Devs make so many changes with each update.

Tough choice between Spyro or Crash Bandicoot. Probably Spryro would win.

But then there's Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie.

Oh but wait what about Buck Bumble?

yea i have no idea.

The Witcher. The very first one. The scenery, the music, the atmosphere, it's unrivalled. I don't even have to actively play it - just start it, go to the lakeside, or Vizima's outskirts, and relax.

TES 4: Oblivion would be a good second for the same reasons. Its places are so soothing!

VR Kanojo

On a serious note, probably a competitive game with a super high skill ceiling like Naraka Bladepoint.

Treasure of Nadia.

tough call... It would either be BF2 or Guild Wars 1. A close third would be CoD1 with its United Offensive expansion - There is something about this game i could play for days.

BF2 wouldnt have been put to sleep the way it did when gamespy died if EA had gone ahead and hosted their own servers or patched the game so people could host their own instead of the game dialing into a gamespy master server that doesnt exist. Luckily some folks somehow developed a work around and they still have all your original account data so if you reinstall the game, you can start from where you left off and play online with other players.
