Give Everspace 2 a whirl and enjoy it. Totally immersive world and story to keep you but sandbox to intrigue you.

I played Everspace 1 which looked and felt awesome, but the progression was kind of strange - linear, but kind of not linear. I'll definitely give Everspace 2 a try.

Everspace 2 is basically a testament to Freelancer and is head and shoulders above Everspace in terms of scope and atmosphere. It is in Early Access but don't let that stop you from enjoying one of the most engrossing Campaigns in a Space Opera type Space Sim.

I don't know, some of the reviews I've been reading about it indicates the rogue-like game has level scaling based strictly on the character's level, which can be quite frustrating.

How did I miss this thread? If you asked me this question a few years ago, I'd say Starcraft all the way. I wanted to shoot for Pro at some point.

But I am torn between Homeworld (with 3rd installment on the way) and a game that was discontinued - Blacklight Retribution. Closest I get is Titanfall2, which I enjoyed dearly. (NOT Apex Legends OK?!? )

Most of my cities gets clogged at around 100.000 citizens, then i just start over with another new fresh map.
