If you had just one game to play for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Easy…
Sim city 4+Rush hour DLC+all the mods from simtropolis.

Give Everspace 2 a whirl and enjoy it. Totally immersive world and story to keep you but sandbox to intrigue you.
I played Everspace 1 which looked and felt awesome, but the progression was kind of strange - linear, but kind of not linear. I'll definitely give Everspace 2 a try.

Everspace 2 is basically a testament to Freelancer and is head and shoulders above Everspace in terms of scope and atmosphere. It is in Early Access but don't let that stop you from enjoying one of the most engrossing Campaigns in a Space Opera type Space Sim.

I don't know, some of the reviews I've been reading about it indicates the rogue-like game has level scaling based strictly on the character's level, which can be quite frustrating.

Any openworld game that doesn't have a lot of shooting
I want beautiful environment, exploration and easy game play (tourist difficulty)

Grim Dawn: it should take YEARS to go through all classes and builds and have chars @ max level in all of them.

I never played, but of course know about it.

My impression is that my grandma could make a game same as Minecraft.

It looks like an Atari unfinished project. lmao :D

If that was true there'd be a lot of random granny millionaires running around.

Yeah but Markus Alexej Persson is a fat guy with a cap. Typical hacker look style

He's also a millionaire and not because he's fat. Connect the dots.

and now i've seen news about 6 and I'm definitely go back to GTA V, but, tough tough choice, my vote for Hitman 3 definitely lol

Same. The older I get, the less I care about action, and the more about environment and atmosphere. The people who say "graphics don't matter" are liars.

How did I miss this thread? If you asked me this question a few years ago, I'd say Starcraft all the way. I wanted to shoot for Pro at some point.

But I am torn between Homeworld (with 3rd installment on the way) and a game that was discontinued - Blacklight Retribution. Closest I get is Titanfall2, which I enjoyed dearly. (NOT Apex Legends OK?!? :D)

Ghost recon wildlands

Cities Skylines.

I love Homeworld! :) Although Homeworld 2's difficulty curve is a bit too steep for me.

Cities Skylines.
Good choice. :) I played it for a while before my city grew too big and the inner city roads became too small for all the traffic. How did you overcome this problem (if you did)?

Most of my cities gets clogged at around 100.000 citizens, then i just start over with another new fresh map. ;)

Jedi Knight Dark Forces II from 1996. You could mod every aspect of the game.
