But while what I install the 6pin, the computer runs for less than a quarter of a second, then completely extinguished

I connected the 6 pin in graphics card, without I install the graphics card in the computer,
It also happens the same problem




Note. !!!

When I install the graphics card without 6pin, the device works without stop, but as you know, can not function graphics card without a 6pin
Here here this problem occurs when the ground Energy receives graphics card

The question is..


There are three words on the (MOSFET) in card graphics, is B17 and 49 and 63ng

can i get (MOSFET) of any motherboard like gigabyte or other or get it of another card graphics but not like this and change this for sapphire vapor x hd 7770 ghz edition oc 1gb gddr5 ??

Why do you think it is a MOSFET? And how would you recognize it? I don't recall ever seeing a MOSFET labeled as MOSFET. Some might have MF in the part number, but as seen here most look like any number of common transistor devices.

Plus, that card has a cover over it. Did you disassemble the card? Do you see burnt components?

I would be more inclined to suspect your PSU. What PSU do you have?

I would swap in a spare PSU first and see what happens.

Also, multiple components may already be damaged on the card. I don't think I've seen a successful repair of this type on any of the forums. I'm sure somewhere some cards get repaired, but it takes the right tools and skill. Better to just grab a cheap GTX 950 if possible or even 750Ti.

The old psu was without 6pin but i installed 6 external pin him

have you tried to power card with both 6 pin conncetors and thoes problem excist with both of them (8 pin conncetor is for mb).
does all cables conncect to psu with one big connector or there are separeate conncetors for different cables. do you have user manual for the psu and did you followed it strictly when you connected cables to psu

pls dont add/remove cables to the card while pc is running unless you want to buy new card or psu (or both).
if no one has tried to "fix/repair" the card there shouldn't have anything shortened on it.
turn off pc and install one of the 6 pin connectors. check if it works. if not truno off pc and try with 2nd 6 pin cable. and try again.
when you lose image when card is connected to power. during boot or when you enter windows. also what is the rest of your pc (cpu, ram, mb etc.). add your system specs here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/account/specs

remove cooler of the card and check if something has dropped between it and pcb (make sure you have thermal paste to replace the old one when you put cooler back). check if insulation of the cables for the fans inst damaged. does the card has warranty left and can you as for replacement/refund.
do you have other cables in case that are touching the card.

Is there a capacitor which is almost must change or remove, and then experience before change

i doubt anyone outside of sapphire will be able to tell you what can cause this problem and is there any why to fix it. may be you should ask in sapphire support forum cause it sapphire are the only one that know electrical diagram of pcb.
i hope you havent paid too much money for it cause most likely cant be fixed.

card cant work w/o mb. vga cards need cpu to tell them what to show on screen so powering the card w/o mb wont show you anything beside may be card loading vbios.

We better come to some common definitions: a video card that "works" for quarter of a second is a non-working card.
A cause of an internal short be anything from a blown capacitor to a damaged PCB of this card, not just a working mosfet.

Since you have already determined that your card is shorting, I would recommend NOT to put it into PC and NOT to plug it into a power supply.
Your computer was quickly shutting down due to overcurrent protection kicking in.
It did, however, kept working without the connector, because no power was coming to it and if you had not forgotten to attach a buzzer to the motherboard, you'd hear beeps indicating that "Videocard is Not Detected".

Mosfet can be a cause of malfunction, but if you did not see any burning or overheating - then it is less likely to be the cause.

Start with capacitors on each power phase, and only then move on to mosfets.
Diagnosing such problem is always pain in the ass, so I found it much easier to determine which phase is faulty by desoldering mosfets with a hot-air rework station, and then checking each line again.
It may sound strange at first, but it is much faster than checking this stuff by hand.

In case you are looking for replacements - look for a chinese supplier, or spend $10 on an identical dead card and transplant mosfets from it (which is what I would do to avoid waiting).
Where I'm from I could only find a few models of NIKOS single-channel mosfets (P0603BD and similar), but no dual-channel FETs, like in most newer cards. Looking for a donor is your best option.
