Installed a new SSD when starting up it crashes at 100% disk usage (Failed)

Ok so you have a blank drive then. Un hook that hdd, put ssd in machine by itself, use the w10 media, enter the key when it asks you to. Make sure the partition uses entire drive (windows may reserve 100MB for itself during install-leave that alone)

Otherwise you may need to install magic disk now on your existing drive and do a secure erase on the ssd itself, which you can then do the firmware upgrade.

May I have the link for that, I searched Magic Disk all that shows up is MagicISO.

It is by Samsung, Pardon Samsung Magician

A USB SATA connector

There's your problem. Do you have a desktop pc that has a spare sata port and cable you can hook up the Evo Drive to?

No, But I formatted and my install media is ready I can try to install windows first then download Magician on the clean OS.

Yeah give it a shot but install the drive by itself in the SATA Port of the laptop without any other drives hooked up then boot up from the install media and enter they key manually.

Be back if it works or not.

Update: Started the installation copying windows files at 0% crossing fingers this works

USB adapters are funny sometimes. Esata if available is the way to go...

Is it normal to have windows installed still be a 0% on copying files still?

Yes, leave it alone, it has to uncompress files.

Go take a break, come back in an hour. Don't stare at it.

Yep then you create a partition and it makes two. If the install keeps hanging then try another USB port or the ODD

LMAO.

at OP- To me it would appear you are not doing this installation right.

Best solution would be for you to take it to a local shop.

Keep getting stuck at a certain percent on the installing windows screen

As I said Take it to a shop, let them do it for you.
