Is it worth it to buy a more expensive PSU for less watts?

you can use an air can without removing the sticker, galaxy 1kw EGX1000EWL here it's the b revision with 24amp max per rail rather than 17amp max as was on the original, still 75amp max 12v. Will have had it 4 years in may still going strong no v droop and capable enough to handle gtx480 sli.

fyi 11.42 is still within parameters so at 11.5 it wasn't dead. that said my runs at 11.96 under load.

good to know ,now it is going into a case with my old mobo cpu that will be for sale.:rockout:

forgot to say the air compressor is in the basement and is cheaper then a can lol .....

yup and you can sell that with full confidence that you aren't selling a lemon.

and yeah having a compressor around is always nice, especially when your tires are nail magnets.

iamtheone, you might be interested to know that the Hale90 650w is going on sale for $80 later today. It'll be the Newegg Shell Shocker from 10am-12:59pm PT.

Edit: just remembered you posted links to a UK store earlier in the thread, so the Newegg deal may be no good to you. Sorry about that.
