Is my 3Dmark06 score about normal?

i've updated the bios, changed the ram, changed the psu, cpu,HDD,reset cmos, changed dvd drives with an ide drive also did the same with the HDD. still the same issue. runs setup really slow. i've called DFI for a RMA so there going to cross ship the motherboard.

I've run out of options to try on this computer

Did you try a different sata port?

Yes i've tried everything to troubleshoot the problem did every diagnostic test, the only time i notice any issues is when lets say im installing software from a cd/dvd it really makes opening my computer and the C drive really slow, i mean unbelievably slow.

I mentioned to DFI i thought it was the southbridge chipset, they didn't even argue me i am assuming this is common. I did notice on various forums people complaining about how how it got on stock settings.

Your CPU score takes down your final score but the shadermark scores are also low. You did a clean driver install with this card?

yes brand new nothing else installed but 3dmark 06 and vista.

I already have the RMA board coming in cause i did notice something wrong with this Motherboard

Like someone said befire it is probably your cpu.
Just to add my own experience, I have around 11500 with a e7200 @3200mhz, 4 gigs Ram 1066mhz and a 4850 700/1000.

Okay so i got the newboard in and it is doing the same thing. But only with my 9850 cpu. When i reset the Cmos it says "Cpu over clock fail!!! "please re-setting CPU frequency in cmos setups"

except...i haven't over clocked the cpu. i updated to the newest bios.

Maybe the default cpu settings aren't getting along with this motherboard?

any advice...anyone?

Whats the cpu voltage set at it may be to low...but even that really makes no sense....but thats what u get when you OC and ur Volts are to low

yeah thats why i find it strange that it is saying Over clock fail, if i haven't over clocked it 0.o

CPU voltage is set at Auto as well as every other setting in the BIOS.
