Is there something wrong with my PC???

Well i've sat here for hours squeezing every last drop out of this piece of crap and im getting nowhere.

I took the cpu from 2794mhz to 2942mhz,
took the GPU core from 769mhz to 799mhz,
and the GPU memory from 1008mhz to 1050mhz.

With all this i only gained an extra 120 marks.

I think i must have bought a piece of crap as nothing adds up!

hmm clock that BE higher (if possible)

and maybe try xtreme-g drivers or something...make sure you do complete clean of old drivers!

I tried a complete driver clean to get rid of all the old crap, i've got the cpu running on 1.4v but cant get any more out of her!

Still i get the same score.

I really dont know what to try next!

If everything doesn't work out, why not try a fresh start I say.C'mon my S939 3200+ and X1950XT with 1GB DDR400 scored nearly 6k with 2500 CPU and 654,963 GPU.What I usually do is have a good BIOS ppl recommend,grab the 40GB ,install XP then try things to work out.

Well i know its dragging up a post from the past but thought people might be interested in this.

I kinda lost interest, but the other day i won a Asus M2N-SLI from ebay for £20. So i thought what the hell!

I installed the mobo, formatted windows and started again.

Now i'm running nealy 2k extra points!!

I honestly think that its because of the better chipset on this new board.

And im sure there is more to go as i'm nowhere near as overclocked on this new board!

Yet another update!

I upgraded my mobo from the Asus M2N-SLI to a abit Fatal1ty AN932X which i won on ebay for £6!
Also i got a 9800GT for my birthday!

The new board allowed me to overclock my processor to 3ghz and the 9800gt will piss all over my 8600gts i was using!

Here's the proof!

score seems kinda low. I get higher then that with my 8800GT @ stock and CPU at 3ghz also my Super PI time is faster. What are your ram settings?
