That motherboard does not fit in that case. It's a micro-atx case.

if you need the system now suppose its a legitimate reason, but being this close to rtx50 series release... i'd wait for the 5070/ti since you are going to spend lots of money

9950x is more of a production chip. Are you gaming mostly? If so, you can't go past the 9800X3D for the best performance. Or something like the 9700X and get a better graphics card with the money you save. Also, invest in an AIO cooler if you can to keep it cool.

You want low profile RAM if using a dual tower cpu cooler so that the RAM heatsinks don't impede said cooler. If this board down below doesn't include the bios for this cpu then grab a FAT32 USB flash drive. This allows you to update the bios without having to install the cpu and RAM thanks to Gigabyte Q-Flash Plus.

Yes I am mainly going to be gaming but I am not sure if an 8 core cpu will deter my performance since my old gaming laptop had an Intel i7 with 14 cores

Laptops are downclocked. They will never compare to a PC. Here's an example of what a Ryzen 5 is capable of.

For that budget, you can get some upgrades to your list. You can even get a little nicer motherboard than this, but I was starting on the cheaper side when I first made the list and didn't have time to second pass.

This is more to my tastes, but would be rad for similar money. Lower latency ram, nicer power supply, and in my humble opinion, the best case for air cooling.

Actually I think I will buy a pre-built from here since that will be the most convenient for me because it has an amd cpu with 12 cores and I can choose my preferred graphics card and it is also in Australia where I am so shipping won't be too long.

I would look here I've heard nothing but good things about them the site you linked has some meh looking parts.

From that site, this one looks really good for what's in the box in OP's budget: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/67472/pccg-demon-4080-super-gaming-pc

Yeah man, get a good local shop to build you one. I'm sure they are around. There are lots of guys that can build nice computers. Can maybe even find someone that will let you watch and learn how.

And now I want a 9700x

Hello Fellow Aussie, first thing is first are you ONLY going to be playing games? or do you intend to do more then just gaming? that needs the extra cores? because a 8 core X3D CPU like a 7800X3D or the new 9800X3D is the best options for gaming, and can stream and do Discord and have 50 tabs open in a browser no issues at all. We need to know this before suggesting what CPU and possible other parts you may need.

Hello, I'm not an Aussie I'm from New Zealand but I live here in scorching hot Queensland, basically I want to get a pre-built but I have now just realised I should buy the parts and get someone to build it. I will mainly be doing gaming and calling my friends and maybe a tiny bit of video editing, I usually play games like watchdogs, rdr2, assassins creed, and fps games like CS2. I want a good graphics card with lots of vram, (ideally an rx 7900 xtx with 24 gbs of vram) i do not really know what case, motherboard or power supply to get but i have found a shop called infinit computers in my area to build it. I also want some leftover money for a monitor and keyboard. (i already have a mouse) Can you suggest the right parts for me? I will order them off amazon or just buy them locally.
