Hello,as title says : I got an asus 660ti.Every time PC is on idle and i open GPU Z i immediately press the sensors tab and notice that for 1-2 seconds the clocks go to full load and temperature raises for 2-3 degrees. After 1-2 seconds they go back to normal.GPU load is 0% and fan speed is low too.Is that normal?? I am only asking because i dont recall it happening with my MSI radeon 7870.

Thank you.

Is it normal for your gpu clocks to go to 0% during idle, yes.

Is it normal for things to speeds up then go down, perhaps due to the 'usage' of GPU-Z.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Small fluctuations like this don't have any real impact. If you're truly concerned try another monitor like MSI Afterburner. See what happens. :)

I know,i was just wondering because it didn't happen with my MSI 7870 at all.Clocks remained at idle even when launching GPU Z.Anyone with similar issue?
