Hey guys, kinda new to the forums, been around just lurking, posted only a few times. But anyway, I would like to know if this board, the LP DK x38-t2r supports 45nm cpu's. I've only seen it on one website saying it does, but I don't know how credible that is. Heres the link: http://www.hardwareoc.at/DFI_LANParty_DK_X38-T2R.htm It's in german, and I used an online translator to read it. Thanks for the help!

I'm pretty sure that the X38 can take 45nm CPU's, but whether or not DFI have implemented it?? Couldnt dig up anything, but it seems it will only take CPU's upto 1333Mhz FSB according to the official site for the board. Probably not much help, maybe you can email them?

Ive got a DFI x38 and it supports 45nm dual and quad cores. Unless you know a lot about overclocking, id advise against DFI with this chipset. Ive got a thread dedicated to trying to get my X3350 (9450) past 3.5GHz. You have to mess with GTL's and all that shit. http://csd.dficlub.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6301

Both Cole and I still cant get the potential out of these CPU's.

Yeah, I hope to use it to get my q9300 up to its stable limit, which i believe is 3.3ghz. Thats why I eyed it, and I want crossfire 16x / 16x. THanks guys! :)
