As that titles states...for those that want to see what a sub-ambient session looks like...

Going to run 2D stuff and see how far this 7700K goes on the ASUS Apex. It is delidded and relidded with 'proper' paste (dropped 11-15C off my ambient temps), so hopefully no popping and such. Below is the livestream (its on now.. but Im not there)... see you then!

This is the first time... well, the last session I had a few months ago, I don't think it required sign up... sorry that's happening.

If I was smart enough to get Twitch working, I would have done that.

Anyway, its beer run time. Not doing this dry! See everyone soon. :)

Its dullsville... TIM keeps cracking and losing its mount to the IHS... I can get a run or so in at 6Ghz+ and then I can't even boot there until I warm up.

Then its back down to what I can do on water until the TIM does its thing and 'reconnects'...

Shutting it down.. giving up. Its too slow going.

Made a few personal bests, but, overall, this was incredibly disappointing.

I didn't watch the live stream, not really my thing, but Im assuming you have a LN pot, perhaps you could try a Dry Ice run first to see how it handles that? What TM were you using?

Thanks for streaming earthdog ! I watched most all of it, albeit with that signup box but it was still really cool to watch and listen.
Now I understand what you were saying about not hearing any cracking.

Grab some of that new Kingpin TIM ;) Pretty sure from what I have seen of Facebook about it, it solves the cracking issue too!

I'm going to look into that... thank you. This was a disappointment with all the fighting I had to do with the machine, that is for sure. :(
