Ive got this Logitech Bluetooth MX5000 combo keyboard and mouse. More specifically, the mouse is an MX1000.

It works perfectly for day to day activity; web browsing, using office apps, etc (basically anything excluding games). Yet, when I play counter strike source, it tends to "lag". At times, it will work perfectly fine...then it will just stop working and totally lag out. For example, if I move from left to right really sharply, the gun will not move sharply, but will slowly glide over to the position. It basically makes the game unplayable.

Now, I have tried with the logitech software and without the logitech software, and I get the same result. Plugging the bluetooth dongle in and out does not fix the lag while im in game...it stops on its own accord (its just random..)

I can't confirm this, but I think it happens more often when the battery is lower.

Anyone know whats up with it?

it's a thing to save battery, i had the same thing while playing nfs with my old wireless keyboard, the keyboard would just lag forever

But its weird because it happens while im actually moving the mouse. Like I would be playing as normal, moving it constantly and it would work fine....then all of a sudden it will start to do this lag thing...without me stopping from moving the mouse.

Oh and the keyboard has no problems at all. Its just the mouse.

Other users of this mouse have found that by using a USB hub placed under the desk/table, and plugging in the Bluetooth reciever there, solves the problem. So, I guess the problem is caused by interference from other computer components/devices to close to the reciever.
