Wanted to hear if someone is playing it or got some recommends to me about the game :)
Or should I better do cancel on it, before it didnt finished update :)

Yes, it's F2P but that F2P model works as free trial because after lvl 20 (i think) you have to buy quests, etc. Basically, if you're playing more than just couple hours/week, those points you get for free won't be enough.

Apart from that, game seems nice and i think you will enjoy it. However, i find graphics(world) a bit 'boring'.

will see about it, I just need some action for about 1month or so till dungeon siege 3 releases.

Its a decent game :D I play it occasionally and my main is a 59 Captain. F2P can take you to about lvl 35-40 now as Lone Lands was made F2P the winter update. I have put a bit of $$ into the game tho as I really like the story and have purchased almost all the Quest Packs and both expansions. I do recommend that if you do spend money on it, wait for a double points sale as you will get more TP for you cash.

It's a great game. I've been playing it since it went F2P. One of the updates a while back made one of the first quest packs completely free (Lone Lands) and made all epic (storyline) quests free through the first expansion pack, "The Mines of Moria." So you can actually play a lot of the game for free. Still, if you want to do the rest of the quests that aren't storyline related, you will have to pay a fee.

My primary character is a 53 Champion. My champion was the hardest to work with. They have little in the form of defense. The best defense for a champion is offense. The quicker you can dispatch an enemy, the more likely you'll survive. My favorite class has to be the warden though I had to pay to unlock that class. For free classes, guardian has been really fun. They're practically indestructible in solo quests!

cool i started with elf champion for now, but havent really played yet some problems with graphic, same as in FF14, when i put all on ultra graphic and highest resolution avialable for me.creen starts to flicker and go from uo to bottom like scrolling.will need to reinstall drivers or set factory defaults maybe will help.

I've done the betas and trials of probably two dozen MMO's. None of them compelled me to continue playing them except for LOTRO.

In addition to double bonus point sales, the quest packs (and nearly all other items) also go on sale.

Which server are you on Arciks?

Evernight(EU), did couple of first quests. Looks intresting game only need some more time to get in to it.

I have a group of characters on Brandywine server. I'm Premium since I always had a bit of subscription here and there. Not reinstalling this until new computer is fully assembled.

I subed that game for one and a half years. I then quit because I was bored but I did try the f2p version.

All I can say is it remains one of the very best MMO games for me and I compare all MMO's to it. I found the game fun and would still be playing it if I had time to play two MMO's.

Which other MMO are you playing? I'm hoping not WoW.

Rift

I never got into wow.

I've only played WoW the first six months it was out. Hated you couldn't attack buildings and see if Peasants or Peons repaired it. That and WoW looks way too cartoony and unrealistic for my tastes. Why use WoW as benchmarks when The Lord of the Rings Online goes for more realistic appearance?

Because WoW is the most played game out there... I never really got into wow because it's game for the masses, but that kinda games are definitely not to my taste.

I'll use FRAPS as a FPS tool when I get the 6950 2GB biosed to 6970 for The Lord of the Rings Online. Pity the monitor I'm currently using only supports 1600x1024.
I'm Erthedir and have a few other characters on Brandywine server.
