Hello all. I have a pretty interesting problem. I have 2 ATA Maxtor hard drives. Master is 200 GB and the slave is 40 GB. I have data on slave, no os. I have XP Pro installed on master hard drive. XP Pro will boot up just fine on master hard drive when it is connected to slave, but it WON'T boot up when it is single? what should I do? Thanks.

Have you tried jumping it to Cable Select? Try that out.

UPDATE: I resolved the problem. I set both drives to cable select and replaced Silicon Image 0680A controllre card with Promise Ultra 133 TX2 controller. That did the ttrick. Thanks.
