Hey guys. I have a buddy from when I used to work in the network security industry who sends me various softwares every once in a while from the mountains of stuff they get. He's offered me a perpetual license (read: infinite) for McAfee VirusScan + AntiSpyware Enterprise and a 6 year license for AVG Internet Security. I just wanted some opinions on which you guys thought was the better option.
I know the consumer version of McAfee is a joke and bogs down a system with all its bloat, but the enterprise version seems really lightweight and I don't notice any slowdown at all.
Of course, the AVG Internet Security comes with a bit more, like firewall and the like, but I haven't used AVG in a very long time so don't know what its current reputation is.
All comments appreciated, and if anyone wants the key for AVG just let me know. It's got unlimited activations.
