Yes shuggans, from personal experience with the XTC Golds, mine I was able to get them up to 900mhz 4-4-4-13 on 2.2v and 800mhz 4-4-4-11 on 2.1v.

Also to answer, yes according to provided specs the ATi's would be faster.

EDIT:But here is the big question, which motherboard?

MSI K9A2 CF-F (K9A2 CF version 2 is getting to my house today)

IMO, I would say yes, you can get those to match up decently well, if you dont mind running them at 2.1v.

it depends though... if you going to be manually setting the timings... by default your motherboard will probably set them both to 5,5,5,15....
if you get the crossfire ram, make sure you manually set them up as 4,4,4,12

And then to be honest, the "speed difference" will be tiny... get faster ram if you want faster speeds DDRII 1066mhz if your motherboard supports it ;)

ok guys, thats what i needed to know, thanks a bunch! now would it be better to get the crossfires or the gold's if i want to put in another 2 gig and alrready have 2gb of the gold?

1066 wont work on that cpu only on a phenom and if you want more performance it would be better foryou to get another OCZ gold kit for 4gb
