Hey guys, real quick question. I have these 3 parts and I was wondering if they'll all work together and how much you guys think I can OC the processor.
1. Mobo: ECS BLACK SERIES A780GM-A AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G
2.1 RAM set 1: OCZ 2x 1gb DDR2 800 RAM
2.2 RAM set 2: G.Skill 2x 2gb DDR2 800 RAM
3. CPU: Athlon II X4 635 AM3 CPU
I'm pretty sure one can use an AM3 cpu in an AM2+ motherboard as long as you use DDR2, but I could always be wrong
Major concern is the different timing and voltages and manufacturer on the RAM, 4-4-4-15@2.1v vs 4-4-4-12@1.9v. Would all these work in one system?
