mozilla updated???

im currently in a pissy mood b/c out of the blue my mozilla firefox (yousing FASTERFOX) decided to UPDATE and the god D** **** POS deleted all my bookmarks and now when i open the windo it does thiis retarded partial window crap and i cant get it to start up normal any fixes would be greatly appreciated
than in adv.

Try looking in ...\defaults\profile\bookmarks.html to see if you can recover your bookmarks. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.

grrr nothing stupid mozilla oh well ill find my sites again i hope its still annoying the thing doesnt come up full screen im more annoyed by that than the bookmarks ive tried all the normal stuff fullsizing exit and repeating that even restart w/ the thing open full screen i tried all the ways i know how any suggestions on that?

ok just noticed that the search engine in the top right of the mozilla has nothing and when you look for plugins for it they dot have google listed HELPME pls

Save the bookmarks of any of the websites you've already found, un-install Firefox, and re-install it. At this point it's going to be easier to start clean than deal with a corrupted program. It only takes a few seconds to re-install. I recomend not using Fasterfox anymore though, it may have been what corrupted Firefox to begin with.

I'd - H A T E - if IE self-updated itself and lost my bookmarks. Than again I only have like 5.

Firefox normally doesn't self update. It's an add-on he has. You usually have to decide if you want to update, and the allow it to do so.

the add on has been working fine for 3months now and i have it on other computers and they didnt have the same prob so i dont think thats the issue ohh and btw the page that lists all my updates is empty so what happened? did it get hacked or is firefox just screwing w/ me?
