This MSI mainboard has a heavy firmware bug.
USB profiles can not be reloaded after firmware updates.
Downgrades to the previous MSI Firmware is not possible. The preloaded file can not be found on MSI Servers.
Using a HEX Editor to spoof the Version string in the backup file did not succeed.
Still teh same as the previous MSI B550 gaming EDGE WIFI. People on the net suggest using paper and pen and to fill out more than 50 fields by hand on every uefi update. That is insane.
Latest untouched Firmware offers 32GB HYnix setting. Suggesting 1.40V DC on the mainboard is just a bad suggestion. A very poor exectued lazy man suggestion from MSI.
Most settings are untouched. There was also a submenu for timings. I'm not that well impressed - especially when MSI claims to offer a specialised hynix die DRAM option. The option is useless in my point of view.
back to Square 1. Restart from scratch all uefi settings. Including all stable DRAM values.
