I just got a new motherboard and I purchased ram that is on the QVL for the motherboard.
I get error codes 60 55 19 repeating over and over no matter how I configure the ram, or even one stick at a time.
Someone suggested I pull the cpu and check for bent pins, there was'nt any.

The motherboard I got from a friend. The old ram that was in it also had issues getting the ram to work, same problem, we got it working with 2 sticks eventually.
I bought some new ram to run it in quad channel and i'm having this issue. Gskill ram its on qvl 2666 cas15. I installed it like in the picture below for 4x8gb quad channel.

newest bios installed ? clear cmos ?
which cpu ?
when i had probs in the beginning of x99 on older bioses it was best to start with 1x or 2x rams in slot A1+B3 and in bios some liked upping ramvolt (mine gave only 1,20volt which resulted in 1,180v) and trfc.

and i hope ya know dimms 5-8 are upside down

and you got a lot of switches on that mobo so ya could try bios switch .
xmp led on?
oc genie switch should be blue for default

I'm not sure if it has the latest bios, as I cant even get to the bios screen to check the bios version. 5930k cpu
I've tried both bioses onboard via the switch. XMP led switch on off neither works.
OC Genie should be on or off? Default blue is off?

Run dual channel or a single stick to see BIOS version and such.

X99 was sort of famous for this sort of behavior. I had a few new kits that I could never get to run in quad channel when testing DDR4. However, this was durrin teething issues of the BIOS versions.

EDIT: dont even bother enabling anything. One stick of ram, clear CMOS, boot and see what shakes.

I tried single all slots, with different sticks, dual different slots quad everything and it always gives me error code 60 55 19. If I take the ram out I get EO error code.

Tried the clear cmos button, I guess this motherboard does'nt have a cmos battery. If it does it's glued behind the msi heatsink.

I found it

Edit: @Good Guru this is your motherboard with all the heatsinks removed, if you look closely you can see the battery between the PCIe slots.

I don't think the cover comes off. Maybe I can flash a newer bios without being in the bios. Like in dos mode or something.
My other Asus board has bios flashback which you dont even need a cpu installed and don't have to be in the bios.

The heatsinks? The M.2 heatsink you need to remove to get to the battery is glued on?

It should be easily removable to get to the M.2 slot.

I can see the cmos battery behind the plate under gfx slot. I dont want to rip the thing off, there nust be some kind of epoxy holding it on.

LOL this mobo called Godlike gaming, to take the mobo out and get those screws wow just to clear cmos.

Do you think clearing the cmos will fix the problem or get me into the bios? So I can update the bios.

Took the mobo out, and the cmos battery then I pressed reset cmos. Putting back together now.

All put back together it still does'nt work. Gonna see if my buddy has his old ram he used in it.

Clear CMOS button/jumper should be enough but worth a shot with battery just in case.

Slow mode isn't active right, red LED next to switch lit? Some reports of switches becoming dodgy.
If you have a volt meter then could check voltages at the test points on the side of the board.

Seems ironic being labeled godlike when it seems more like a board from hell! :fear:

Lol! I agree! Board from hell. Slow mode or normal mode i've tried both, I will leave it at normal.

I'm thinking I need to update the bios somehow or the cpu socket has bent pin(s), I looked at the socket really close with 2x magnifying glasses and did'nt see any bent ones. Also the cpu cooler is not on too tight or too loose either.

Checked for bent pins in the cpu socket under 10x magnifying, again I did not see any bent pins. Heres a pic of the ram.

Also tried JBAT1 jumper to clear cmos no go.

Waiting to try some different ram, in the mean time any suggestions appreciated!

The empty space next to the key notch is a strange color. I looked on the G.Skill site where the coloring is the same as the PCB. If I am not mistaken?

Cool. Was worried reg may have been faulty and killing your RAM.

There's 2 memory controllers so bent pin damage would likely have to be major to stop both working. Hopefully friends RAM will post so you can check the BIOS version, the QVL I saw doesn't seem to reference BIOS versions so might need an update.

Similar episode below even after changing board.
