Multiple Threads in the BST Forum

I like the idea as far as having multiple threads going at once—but I wouldn't want to resurrect a thread I made ages ago to sell (or look for) something new. I've got 13 threads started in that subforum, but they're all dead and I wouldn't want to resurrect them.

i spoke to someone about a similar thing ages ago,
i think old dead fs/ft threads should be deleted as i really can't see the point in keeping them here
yes in essence they could bring more people in ,but if there's to many it makes the place look untidy ,
i do emulator news somewhere else on the net ,and to keep things neat i just use the same thread i'e i delete old dead links within the thread and update the contents, that way it's just updated news and not 1000 pages of dead links wasting peoples viewing time

threads need to stay, so that you can go back and find the thread later if needed.

You cant say "just keep the PM's!" either cause some of us get so many PM's we have to clear them every month or two

well m i was thinking of threads that are older than say a year and a half, or the person who hasn't been here for months on end, i'e someone who comes here dumps some old stuff then isn't heard of untill the next lot

maybe what's really needed is a vault for all the ancient threads so people can still get to them and reference to and from them without crapping up the rest of the site, now there's an idea that could possibly work

I'm not necessarily saying that you have one thread for the rest of your life; just one live, unlocked FS thread.

maybe it should one bump every 24 hours per user. then if you have multiple threads you cant bump them all at once.
