What is the other error? It could be the PSU , a bad overclock , a power drop or a faulty component.

How can I check the source?
Well , i dont think you can other than testing your computer with some other PSU.
edit: you can check with HWINFO if the voltages are right during load but that doesnt ensure that the PSU is good 100%.

edit2: by crashing you mean that your computer reboots or it just hangs , what is exactly happening and in what conditions (under load, idle etc..)? (i should have asked this first)

For example, today I opened the PC and suddenly the image on the monitor was closed and the fans could be heard running at high speed. I had to press the reset button on the case to get it back.

Then is not a PSU problem , you should check all connections / cables first, remove any overclocking you did if you done any.

What is your monitor? Some displays with high refresh rate need settings in Nvidia control panel, otherwise they turn the system off in the same manner you described

Do you Overclock? If so, try without overclock using stock settings.
Check you temps.
Check you memory and their settings.

Viper, I used Ryzen Master and I set the control voltage to 1.1375 compared to 1.4625 and I had a processor with cooler temperatures. I haven't activated Ryzen Master and it still does the same thing. I also set the BIOS to default!

Hi,
Well gigabyte power supply no telling if it's any good they do have a poor history

Only ways to rule power supply out is,
Use a different one
Move to another room and try a different electrical circuit not the same as now.
Use a ups/ backup battery if it turns on a lot it's a wall outlet issue not the power supply.
You can use hwinfo64 to get the reading I'd suggest an older portable v6.08 version not newest

Check all the connections / cables if they are correctly fitted and reseat your GPU in the slot.
Uninstall Ryzen Master and reset the BIOS to default. (seems that one of last versions of Ryzen Master was a bit buggy , not sure)
Check HWINFO like @ThrashZone showed and see if the values from your PSU and CPU / GPU temperatures are ok.
Reinstall your graphics card drivers (with a clean install)
Reinstall chipset drivers.

Check if you still get crashes.
