Single 260GTX??

Get the Asus P5Q Pro...P45 chipset, no SLI support but a damn nice board and it will do 500fsb if you ever decide to get a 45nm CPU.

If you want SLI support, the boards are all expensive and you may as well sell your Q6600 and move over to i7 as the i7 boards in Canada are about the same price as the nVidia SLI boards. :shadedshu

Nvidia 780 chipset is your only real option other than upgrading everything.

I have a 780i FTW board that has done quite well. The only thing I have had a problem is there is a FSB hole that won't allow me to clock higher.. Could also be due to the NB being VERY TOASTY.. if you want a good 775 sli it would be better to go 790i... The boards are more solid then the 750's and 780's.. I just haven't had the want to go 790i since I have a extreme chip..

I say if your content on SLI, and not going with a major change, then 780i ftw wouldn't be bad for ya.. well even the normal A1 780i would be fine. Just know the 780i has a FSB hole over 470... If your fine with that, then go that route.. But like Darren says, a 260 is quite enough for any game.. so any high end board can do you well. Asus P5q Pro is a nice board.. Like Acid said.

Yes it will support SLI GTX 260's and it's not very good for a quad core.
