Hye,
Can anyone help me?
I want buy new desktop with AMD processor..(gaming build)
My budget below RM1200(not include with hard disk)
I'm noob in AMD build..

suggest what i can build with price below RM1200

what is RM to be exact?

RM = "Rinngit Malaysian"
currency for Malaysian..
if it hard for you,can u help me by listing the items that i can build for my desktop..

RM1200 = x dollars??? :confused:

Anyway, I would suggest:

Motherboard: AM3+ board (upgrate path to Bulldozer)
CPU: Athlon II x3 455 at least, Athlon II x4 or Phenom II x4 recommended.
Graphics card: Radeon HD5770 or Radeon HD6770, best performance/price ratio.
RAM: 4GB at least
Case: get the cheapest you can, invest the savings towards a PSU
Power supply: the heart of your PC, don't skim on this. Do your homework and do lots of research; even well known brands have bad power supplies. The only brands I would recommend without knowing which unit you're getting would be Seasonic, Corsair and Silverstone.

thanks for the suggest..
for power supply which is better in your opinion?

Coinmill.com says 1200RM = $404US. That sound right?

We have to take into account how much more does he pays for stuff in his country. Down here in Mexico I pay about 30% more than newegg prices due to customs, transportation costs, taxes, store profit, etc.

a7love, how much is an Athlon II x2 250 in your country?

the reason I listed an Asrock motherboard is because they are a division of Asus and is considered their value brand.

so if you wanna skip cases and using generic case you can allocate more for hardware
using x4 is pretty fast, dont sweat much on newer stuff but dont take too old school processor take the average coz the price could be lower
if you could take board with pciex 16 2.0 version

This is no longer true, Arock are now there own company and now make some realy nice top end boards that are just as good as any asus or gigabyte in my opinion.
