I recently bought this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133021

I'm having trouble getting the 5.25 front bays off. Do I have to remove the front just to get the bays out or can I reach inside and get to the clips? I looked everywhere and somehow the diagrams leave much to be desired. I don't wanna accidentally break the front off at any rate.

Can anyone take a picture of how to remove the front bays so I can install my DVD-RW DL :).

Thanks in advance, and sorry for such a silly question.

You talking about the removable hdd cage in the bottom front?

If so you got to unlatch thee clips and then pull it out.

Edit: nvm miss read it. Anyway, it would be easier to take the front panel off. To do this take both sides of the case off. Inside there you will see some black clips on each side that holdes the panel to the case. You will want to pull those out. I believe that the front panel is also latched to the case with screws just below those black clips i was referring to. Take those out and the front panel should come off easy as hell.

Then with the front panel off you will have easier access to remove the drive bay covers off. On the inside of the panel the bay covers will be latched with little clips on the side. Pinch those to loosen the clips and the bay cover should pop right off.

you can either take a flat blade(being carefull of course) and prise one side out of the facia out or you can push it out from the inside.

I just pop 'em out with a flathead screwdriver on mine.

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I ended up taking off the front so I could just pop them out easily and leaving the screws out of the front since it snaps on and stays in place fairly well.

I got the DVD drive in but unfortunately the same DVD DL I installed is now stopping my Post screen right after "Detecting Mass USB Storage Devices" "Device #01" ..It takes about 2-3 minutes and then it finally boots.

I wish I could figure out the problem because before I moved cases it was plugged in...all i need was flash my bios between installation.

If it's IDE plug it in on it's own and make sure the jumper on the back of it are correct..
