I had a fan die on my XFX R9 390 and I didn't even notice that it was dead until today while I was doing a thorough cleaning of my PC today. I have experienced hard freezes and reboots while playing Watch Dogs 2, but no other games caused issues, so I just chocked it up to my CPU needing a repaste or bad code in the game. Not a real pressing issue, or so I thought.
When I pulled the GPU out to dust it, I noticed discoloration on the mounting bracket, as if someone had held a lighter up again the back on my rig. That was my first clean something was amiss, so after I cleaned the card I fired it up and sure enough, one of the fans is dead. I'm hoping hte card isn't damaged from being super heated. =/
I've looked around on eBay for a new set of fans to install, but I don't even know which size to look for, they are all different and nothing I can locate about this card (it's the Best Buy variant) lists the actual size of the fans, let alone the spacing for the screws on the card, and I really don't want to open it up before I have to, because I have to use this PC for work and do not have another card to fall back on.

Anyone have any info or links to the fans?

***EDIT*** After some sleuthing, I found out that the card uses FirstDo FDC10H12S9-C fans. If anyone knows where I could purchase these, from a US seller? I'm coming up dry.

Simply call XFX and ask them for replacement first, maybe they are kind enough to give you one for free or a small price.

I don't have a proof of purchase, but I'll shoot them an email today and then call if I don't hear back in a few days.
