New CPU and Mobo, continuously running hot and slow

Yeah I have it plugged in the pump lights up and everything. Sata power straight into my psu and then a 3 pin into the cpu_fan header


OK I can try that again. Just sucks because it's running so shit it's hard to even get software downloaded

Post a picture of the wiring and how you have it connected.
To me it sounds like the pump is NOT working.

The two types of standoffs aren't interchangeable due to differing threads.
