I was doing some reading over on Game Informer and came across their Top 10 "homage" to Dreamcast. At the end of the article I came across this. I should see if I can get mine to work:laugh:

Too bad my dreamcast was destroyed a long time ago....

That system had so many things going right for it, it didn't deserve the death it got. It was a console truly ahead of it's time.

I'm on it! My Dreamcast is still the best game system in history to my eyes. It's been 11 years for me now and it's still kicking like the day I bought it (Japan 1998).

Holy mackerel! I've just found mine under the desk at my gran's house as I was planning on selling it on here, set it up and I just can't get rid of it, it's too much fun! It's amazing that there's a new game coming for it!

Nice. I have been slowly rebuilding my collection of games for it. Hope that Sega gets the hint and makes a Dreamcast 2.

Dont forget to add Sega GT to that games list, hands down best racing game ever still to this day no one has made a game that lets me completely make your own cars from scratch.

Selling my Dreamcast was a huge mistake, sold it with MSR (FTW!!!) for €20/$30 on eBay, and that is why I don't use eBay anymore, it never goes well with me when I sell things despite doing everything right. :shadedshu

Tomorrow, I'm going to my parents house to pick up all my old stuff. I hope my Dreamcast still works. I do know my Saturn still works along with my Genesis with the 32x adapter. It's time to have a garage sale I think. If I started playing with all this stuff again I won't have time to eat or sleep.

I agree the dreamcast was an epic little machine and it died a slow and painful death was also way ahead of its time. long live the DC, there was so many great games out for it. first one what springs to mind is shemnue 1 & 2 those were epic. also so many others, like quake3 which was also great online.

There was plans for Shenmue 3 but I think thats when the DC started to hit the dust and was expected to be way over budget, therefore was too over ambiguous for sega's likeing  apparently the DC sales had hit an alltime low and were massively down by then so Sega had to pull the plug on a lot of cool stuff they were working on. therefore leading to what happened to the dreamcast.
