Hey everyone this is my second post here and also sorta my introduction as long as a question or two. Well I suppose that my journey with computers started with my father. He was tired of our family having a poor system to work on. So he did ALOT of research (so much some times he wouldn't even eat dinner) and that lead to where he is now. He is a computer genius in my eyes (some of you may think otherwise but almost everything you guys say sounds like gibberish to me anyways). He is currently going to college for computer networking and has built and managed all 4 systems in my home (all of which run excellently)
More recently he has tought me somethings about the computer such as how to maintain them much properly (via programs only) and keep them protected. Shortly following this I had my grandmother give me her broken computer so that I could look at the internal workings. It actually worked; I just think of it as though it didn't because it was hardly capable of running. Well I was in awe the entire time looking at all of these cables and drives everywhere in the computer having no clue what any of them do. My mission now is to learn as much as I can about computers and eventually build my own that is somewhat low-cost (pretty much as cheap as it's going to get and still be decent)
So if someone in this helpful community could be so kind as to point me in the direction of some helpful articles (I have already read the one here on building your computer) and places to find good pricing on parts I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
DoomBox
