Hello TechPowerUp.

i have a FE RTX 2080 ti chillin on 49C on max load and oc power limited on the 320 watts with custom water block. i would like to push that to 373 as i see some evga bios has and should be the max it can support yes?
i would like to ask for guidance to what bios to take, should i even do it and so on.

FE Bios is 90.02.17.00.04

Best Retards.

Please take picture of white stickers on card back and get GPU-Z and get a screenshot from there, post it all here.

What cpu and motherboard do you have?

Hello sir thanks for helping out!
the White stickers im not sure if i can see as i have custom backplate on but i still have the box if its on there?
my setup is:
Asus Maximus XI Extreme
ROG Thor 1200W power supply
I9-9900k 5ghz 2 cores 4.9ghz 6 cores oc.
G.Skill TridentZ DDR4-3600mhz 32GB
RTX 2080 ti FE with custom block and backplate. currently hitting +1200 on memory +89core 100% voltage and power 123% max this is as high as i go before powerlimit on 320 watts running all games 100%. i was thinking maybe i could push to 375 watts max as its only 49C.

You are running the stock bios right?

Ok let me look

Back up your current bios to your desktop, put in a folder, use gpu-z to do it, click arrow next to uefi check box and proceed. I have 1 bios for you that is for ln2 users but you should be ok.

yes i have not touched anything yet.

Let me know you have backed up your bios

okey. i just have some questions so i understand myself what i am doing, 1x DisplayPort 1x HDMI 1x USB-C 2x Mini-DiplayPort in that bios that is not the same mine has what does that matter to my ports? and 2000 watts? :D if i go 380-390 watts it will damage the system no? as i understand 75 watts from the pcie16 port and 2x 150 watts from the 2x8 pinns connected.

Or use this file.

Since you already backed up and you have a core i9 cpu, you can reflash your gpu incase of a failure.

what is LN2 modders? :D and this bios 336 watts i gain 16 more.

LN2 is Liquid Nitrogen.

I just helped a user with a RX5700 flash to a RX5700XT.

ahh okey. now i get alot more already. so the evga i linked is that the best target as its 2 watts below as i understand i can pull? am i right in the 375 watts? and if i go 380 will it die? :D

will this Evga 373w bios work?

Give it a shot otherwise use the other. If it bricks put the old bios back in.

I would like to be sure about atleast the watt limit first before i give it a shot? :D dont wanna fry it if it works as its suppose but cant handle the 373 watt over 320.

Since you water cool it, it will be fine.

alright. well im not worried about GPU temp more the actualy cables the 2x 8 pinns and the pci16 express that i dont pull too much and damage either motherboard or psu. is it right with the 150+150+75 watt ?
and thanks alot for the help sir! means alot.

You have a 1200 Watt psu, no problem.

Start with 373

Just do it and press on.

If you need 450 watts you need a card that has 3 8pin connectors, so 373 is plenty.

okey thanks. all that understood now. But i find soo many different 373 bios also from other brands. there is 7 evga of the EVGA FTW ones i linked. help me out in this zoo of bios please :D and are they same PCB as mine thats the part i cant find to match.

I suggested 1 earlier

i just presumed someone in here could confirm atleast a bios worked on the FE around the 375w range and not try this or maybe try this and see what happends :D from what i can read around the forums on web is if i flash that evga ftw bios on my fe it will brick my card....

this bios has cofirmation and guide to it. it is a 380w though.
