Not surprised this went WHQL so fast, this solves most issues 320.18 created.

Idk, the beta version of this driver was bad imo. I had usage all over the place and some people had crazy temp problems. I also had several crashed in FFXIV ARR after using the beta version. I hope this fixes those.

Yeah this driver is pretty much just as bad. And this is the Beta version with WHQL stamped on it. No new fixes.

Ahh ffs..
I'm staying with the 314.22 driver then.
It runs just fine.

It's weird, I'm on the 320.18's and so far my overclock has remained more stable on BF3. I'm finding these nice and don't want to change.

As I understand it 320.49 and 326.01 don't share all the bug fixes. The next driver should be more complete and is supposed to have more browser/flash fixes than either of them.

According to Techspot "Dual-monitors setups will no longer cause GPUs to run at higher performance levels" with 320.49.

This doesn't apply to the 600 series, does it? I mean, I thought the 600 series cards were already highly optimized when it came to 2D power consumption...

If it doesn't qualify that statement, then it's likely to apply to all GPUs/card series.

Likely, yeah. And that would be a good thing, absolutely, though I doubt a card like mine (660) would/could improve on its current 7W idle, 8W multi-monitor, and 10W BluRay power consumption characteristics. Kudos if 320.49 were to accomplish that, though. Guess I'll have to try to find out. :)

I tell you, my GTX 590 runs so damned hot, even in desktop mode that I'd appreciate any reduction in power. :D

I can only imagine. :fear: Hope your temps improve, somewhat at least. :toast:

Getting Visual Redist C++ errors when playing LoL 3v3 now, instead of the normal crash, so this driver fixed the old crash and made another. My best friend's cousin also has the same identical issue on his PC with the same driver and a GTX 670.

i read a lot of complain when this driver out
dont know what happen to them even it crashed when open a firefox
i never got a problem with this driver except got little artifact in farcry 3 -_-"

326.18 beta was released yesterday and its an official driver for Win7, 8, 8.1 and seems to be working pretty well for more users then the other 320 drivers previously.

The guru3d thread for it says otherwise. I couldn't even get it to display an image at all on my crossover. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with these two new branches and they seem to be missing it.

Well there are reports that people with Korean monitors should not use the new 326.19 betas.

And manualG in the NVidia forums said that the WHQL for these drivers will actually be different version number and be out in a few weeks rather then next week, because itll include more fixes.
