Don't know what you'd be sorry for. The article never said different. And, like I said, that wasn't even the point of it.
Now they've got some "official" statement from Nvidia about it in the article. And an apology of their own. Which is equally for no reason. Since what they stated is still apparently the case. RTX 2080 Tis are not(or longer are) listed for sale in the Nvidia online shop. So, if it ever was listed, it HAS BEEN de-listed(ALL RTX 2080 Ti CARDS, FE AND AIB). Why would that be? Why not still list the AIB cards? They do with every other RTX model.
Answer, if you haven't already figured it out, the problem is not confined to FE cards.
I'll say it like I said it to those dumbasses over at Gamers Nexus, they have every incentive to try and cover-up/lie about/minimize the extent of the issue. And no incentive to do otherwise. Their stock is tanking hard enough as it is...JFC people. Get a clue...
