As the title states, I have an Alienware m15 with an i7-9750H cpu. I downloaded ThrottleStop to attempt to undervolt as the cpu was throttling. When I first tried it, I could unlock adjustable voltage, set a number and click apply but the offset column numbers in the top right window would never change. They would always stay at +0.0000 etc.
I then found out that dell laptops have a lock on undervolting, so I followed this tutorial to unlock this setting in the BIOS. By the looks of the comments, many other alienware users were successful in unlocking the ability to undervolt with this tutorial. After doing this however, my voltage offsets never change in the top right window even after clicking APPLY and OK.
I have tried deleting the .ini file then restarting but that didn't help.
Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated!
