Overclocking DDR400

Raising the latency on them.

Instead of 3-3-3-8 for example, raising the latency would be like 4-4-4-9.

Not saying you should put it at 4-4-4-9, there are other people who are good with latencies who could give much better advice than I could on them.

Wow I would make sure that your CPU temp readings are correct. 24c on a P4 overclock is insanely awesome! Search online for tweak guides for memory oc'ing.

Isn't this meant to be a forum?

EDIT: It doesnt burn my hand when I touch it while running winrar for benchmarking. Loads at 40c WITH SIDE PANEL OFF.

Its a NORTHWOOD... not a Prescott, northwood is the one that stays cool.

could someone explain how to loosed the timings :p? (I've never known :p)

You go into the ram settings and if yours is 3-3-3-8 with a command rate of 1T, you can change it to 2T. If that dosen't help, you can slack the others up to 4-4-4-12.

I'm gonna guess that you'd be able to get further with a bump in voltage to your ram. It's a shame your board doesn't go any further. A slight bump in chipset voltage might get you a little further as well.

see sig, read guide, be happy :D
