Passmark Scores

i just update my GPU to 7900XTX , a bit improvement

I'll post my results at some point today I'm just curious how you got 40K points with the 7900 XTX. I typically get 30-33K points with my 7900 XTX.
Pass mark is not accurate indicator for gpu performance.. But there is wrong with ur gpu since my 6900xt easily archived 34k+

This is from the other day, I was tuning my ram.

This is from 7-19-24 I was trying to max out my Memory score.

You bastard, so close! Comes in all of a sudden with a score +500.....Is that a 14900k? I wonder how much it values disk speed..... ? Maybe I could put together a super fast raided disk to just get eek ahead. I dunno if I could push memory more its already at 1.5v and I think thats pretty high already. I tried booting 7000 once and it worked, no stability test tho, I was pretty sure I'd fail like immediately. I heard peopled doing 1.65v but this is an early ddr5 kit dunno if its as resilient as newer hynix m. Honestly I was surprised 5600 cl36 could be so flexible. MY DDR4 kits always had a seizure if even tried a 100mhz overclock.

I know this has a not so great gpu test but I feel like I should have got better with the 4090...... Perhaps I'll play around with that and see what I can do.

Btw... anybody get a bug where they cant see any gpu tests past the dx9 ones? Other than in a preview window anyway? Maybe having it not focused harms performance.

Alright, I got a big increase in 3d render score!! You know, the first time I tested this today I got 52,000. Then after setting up for the other tests, after running a few and and then getting to the 3D part, the dx9 test with the planes was stuck on my screen. Even task manager wouldn't appear ontop of it. UGHH. So I didn't know what to do other than abandon the test and start over. So when I got 48,000 the next time I'm like ehh good enough.

As for why the huge increase? I mean... well I did a custom curve that got me to 3000mhz when before I was only doing 2800..... BUUUT I don't think thats enough to explain the disparity. Especially between my original 41,000 and then next 52,000 scores. I wonder if maybe DLDSR has something to do with it? This time I tried running in native resolution. Or maybe its just highly variable I'm not really sure. I guess 48.8 and 52 could be within run to run variance, but still seems pretty wide. I know its not really meant as a GPU bench, but more an overall PC bench so, I guess that makes it easier to overlook.

No idea what this benchmark is comparable to concerning past posts/revisions.
But Hopefully the cpu-z in the screen shot helps so you know what I've run here.

Your memory mark score seems a little low. I was able to get 3841 on memory mark with tuned DDR4 3866MT/s cl18 with tuned primary and sub timings.

Mild memory tuning, no secondaries out of spec.

Honestly, this benchmark suite is out of my benchmarking religion because it does not give consistent results. I can run this again later and have a completely different score.

I could try harder, I just wanted to give it a try. Haven't ran it in many several revisions.

On DDR4 14700K, I was running 4400mhz, but never tried this bench when I had the ddr4 board which I no longer have.

I close everything in the background before I run these tests to get the highest/ most consistent results. I typically get the same numbers every time.

Seems pretty consistent to me, as long as I am consistent in what other applications and services are running in the background (like did I remember turn off anti-virus?? - cause that can make a difference). Of course there's still run to run variance, but not much, ime. Except with the 3d score that one seems to land all over the place. But there's better tests for people who specifically want to test GPUs. This is more for testing the whole computer. And its my go to for ram and cpus.... mostly because its fast, and I find it consistent at least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, maybe something.
Not much running in that background.

3D penalty 60% cause 1080P monitor.

Don't like the SSD benchmark. Looks "off" maybe for 980 pro.

Or maybe it's w11 24h2 isn't great for this benchmark suite?

Don't have an anti virus installed.

All I need to do is install 14700K back in and I'd be in the 99 percentile like everyone else with a mid ranged or higher system. Seems the score/s means nothing? I dunno! Lol

The secret to passmark overall is your disk score... 2 fast 4th gen nvme's in RAID 0 will work wonders. And for 3d scores, always run in native resolution, ideal case scenario: 4k. That way you get full score on DX12 test.
