Ok, just a simple question...

How the hell do you call them PC Cases that have the PSU rack at the bottom?
Do those cases have PSU fan intake holes at the bottom? Are they any good?
Can u suggest one in a decent price range ~100$-120$?

Thanks guys!!! Really...

Some have vents, some flip the PSU over.
some to choose from are:

Coolermaster 690
Coolermaster 590
Antec 900
Antec 1200
NZXT Tempest

alex the antec 1200 costs about 180$ on NE, out of his price range.

Okay fair enough, wasnt sure of US prices. just gave a list of all the cases I could think of with bottom mounted PSU's, cus I'm looking for the same ;)

CM 690 looks really nice, and ppls experiences say its effective... might get that one...
and its not that expensive.. thanks guys

This one looks pretty sweet! You can go both ways... PSU up, or PSU down :D
U might go with that one Alex? http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?language=eu&act=detail&tbcate=246&id=5366

I want a midi height case due to space. If it wasnt for the crappy window for the 690, I would have got it by now.

My ideal case would be:

Large side window
Painted black inside
Bottom mounted PSU
Midi tower size
nice looking
Less than ÂŁ50.

it aint gonna happen. :(

What do you mean crappy window? As far as i can see 690 has no window?

I want all that but for free! :D

You think this 80mm fan that mounts behind the mobo (on the 690) helps with cooling?

You can get a window for the 690. check it out here

And from what I have heard that fan doesnt really do a lot.

OMFG it's a F*****G ugly ass window! Why don't you buy the 690 without the window, and then cut it yourself? I did it on my present crappy case :D.... check it out in the case gallery

And furthermore, the case will look even more cool when you know u did it yourself :pimp:

I know I was thinking I could mod it, but I would make such a hash of it. I'm crap at that sort of thing. :(

Looking at this one atm. hasnt been released yet, if its not gonna be too long and the price/height is right, it could be the one for me.

Hmmm it does get tricky if you don't have the tools, but i took it to a friend who's dad has a car repair shop... he did a perfect square for me... all i did is cut the plexy to size, puncture some holes, and screwed on the plexi... the one thing i can't find in bloody Serbia is a rubber U channel!!! With the U channel, it all looks awesome :D

I'm getting tempted just to buy this one, then possible mod it.

Hmmm looks better than the 690 on the outside, and i think its definately better built than CM. What i don't like is the width of just 205mm (8,1") which would possibly make it snug with the aftermarket kick ass heatsinks...

I have a Thermalright HR-01 Plus in my case 195mm wide and i can't close the case... 205mm would probably do it, but it would be a tight fit... and the CM690 is 213mm... definately would fit almost every aftermarket stuff in there...

Personally i think 690 is better tought of on the inside.

Was only tempted cus of price. Looking at the NZXT tempest atm.

Meh, think I'll wait for the new coolermaster case that isnt out yet. give me some time to get more money togather, and I get everything I want too.

Good luck in your case search!

To you too m8...
Good Luck :pimp:

I have the 690 and did a window mod and is an awsome case.
I also just picked up an Antec 300 for a build I'm doing for my daughter.
The 300 is a smaller case in depth and hight, Not a good case if your gonna install a big card like Ati's X2's.
between the two, I recommend the 690. :rockout:
