Simple answer is Yes. This post is about HARDWARE market, not software

Meaning that even if a user pirates a game, he still needs to buy the hardware for it in order to be able to play.

No freaking doubt. I keep trying to use controllers via Steam Link and get frustrated. Every time I go right back to the desktop for the superior control provided by a good ol' keyboard and mouse.

These are games that have been optimized for a controller too. An example that applies to just last night is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. I was getting so pissed because I couldn't quickly swivel the camera around to see my surroundings. I am now of the mind that controllers are only good for fighting games and possibly driving games; both of which are two genres I don't play these days.

My antec blue was blue...that was like 2002
