PCCooler OC3 W120 Combines Tower-Type Air Cooler with Water Block

Yo Dawg, I Heard You Like Water Coolers So I Put A Water Cooler In your Cooler!..

I wonder if it is difficult to create a watercooling block for the CPU if you have the knowledge, material and a CNC milling machine. Curious, if or why no one has made something similar, call it "custom cooler"??

Is it better to have that "two-in-one" cooler or to get a big radiator? Isn't the concept of having something watercooled except for bringing down temperature levels a bit more also to eliminate the noise of a fan? I hate the sound of the fans in my system. Turn the off, and all I hear is the forest.. all silent.. some birds perhaps...

Cool but not new.

Very interesting and innovative design indeed.

We need some benchmarks to see whether that translates into practical results or not.

I have something like this back in the days when I still have a P4. It's called Volcano 4005 by Thermaltake. It's leaks badly after a period of time. I would love to give this one a try, but I bet any EK acrylic blocks will smoke this thing.

PCcooler made crazy stuff but doesn't mean they works. I saw many of their products in a LAN party in China. Take a look of their PSUs.

*fails miserably to see the reasoning behind this product.

very cool idea i wonder how well it really do under stress. maybe more potential for extreme overclocking.

The idea is not actually that Innovative...Danamics tried almost the same by joining a tower CPU Cooler with a liquid metal cooling system.....And although great the high cost drove Danamics bankrupt.....So what remains is to see how it performs and how much it costs...

Made in China . .. . so it will break or begin to leak within the first month . . .

Most of your rig made in china.

As long as the QC is done well and the company cares about their product then the quality will be the exact same as anything you buy anywhere.

lol dude alot of quality products are made from china, even most of corsair's stuff are. If they break or leak blame the actual company for not having a decent quality control process in place.

They are chinese, they do crazy stuff like.. umm.. claiming sovereignty to a place thousands of kilometers far off from their land.
That applies to pretty much any of the World Powers also ;)

Not really. The People's Republic of China has been doing it for years, and their substantiating claim to it is that the sea where the islands are in is called "South China Sea."

Then they shoot at Vietnamese ships in Vietnamese territorial waters, and claim "this is Chinese territory", and likewise shoot at Philippine ships in Philippine territorial waters, and claim "this is Chinese territory", as well as 2 jet fighters flying through Philippine airspace.

And don't forget that their Chinese defense minister claims that everyone involved should "avoid unilateral actions" and "act responsibly"...except for themselves apparently.

EDIT: We are now officially calling the sea as West Philippine Sea, as a big F**K YOU to China. Vietnam already did likewise much earlier by calling it "Eastern Sea."

what sovereignty thousands of kiometers far off from their land have they claimed? i wasn't aware, because I'm in China right now and haven't heard anything as such. and don't try to bring politics into tech.

Spratlys. During the 1950s-70s, only the Philippines and Vietnam are making claims to them.

But then in the 90s there are supposedly a lot of oil and natural gas in the area...and suddenly the islands are "Chinese territory", yet that would be impossible if we follow international law.

Even the Philippines and Vietnam are not claiming EVERY island, as per international maritime law, some of them would be in international waters and be "unclaimed." Yet China claims "everything" is Chinese territory...even those islands and waters that have always been Vietnamese/Philippine territorial waters/islands.

LOL like bunch of daiper kids claiming ownership to their toys.

LOL like bunch of daiper kids claiming ownership to their toys, so sad.

What's a daiper?

Anyway, we're only doing this simply because the main argument of the "benevolent, supreme" Chinese government is that the sea was named South China Sea, and therefore they have "legitimate" claims to everything in it. If they can argue such, we would do likewise.

Sadly that is not how countries work, and never had.
It is sad that the Philippine Government is weak and unable to wrestle for territorial dispute like these.
Go look for the Kuril Islands, Senkaku Islands/Diaoyu Islands, and Chagos Archipelago.
Not to mention the countless Reefs and Islands that are claimed be the USA, and different Allied Nations since WW2.

This kind of shit has been going on for centuries, and likely will keep going on.
Welcome to the cruel reality sir, it is the one with the better guns that speaks on disputes like this.

LOL like bunch of daiper kids claiming ownership to their toys.
It is just the darker side of humanity.

Good thing you're around keeping up the tradition.

All of this should be discussed else where.

Should point out though Western countries ( England and America certainly) still carry out this practice but are more subtle about it, and call it liberating lol

And they set up deals and such like, but it's same shite different face. It's just more tactful.

he he he... i know what you mean. :toast:

Back to commenting on the cooler please?!?!

yeah back to the cooler, i guess better if it full water cooling solution coz water would perform better.
adding fins will help the temp lower but i guess its kinda un necessary.

If I was to go to the trouble of running a WC loop, I'd like all of the heat to be dipersed outside of the case. This whole concept seems all tricks/ no practical sense to me.

Agreed, this sort of thing has been done before and there is a reason why you don't see these things for sale. There isn't any cooling benefit at all.

mother of god this idea is old.

many have tried all have failed lets hope this one is different.
