Well I hope everyone is doing well and is OK??

I've a few bits and pieces I'd like to see gone and oh did I mention they'd be free?! :D Well what I'm hoping to do is give away to anyone in the UK (at the moment, see what the lists are like!!) and then go for anyone worldwide.

Requirements? Well nothing massive I don't think really but I'd like anyone wishing to have something from this giveaway to be an active member in our WCG or FAH or Rosetta crunching teams and depending on how that goes, I'll open it up to the rest of the forum as I'd like to get this kit gone.
Only thing that I require from everyone is they pay the postage for the kit since I'm not asking for a penny for the kit itself, I've had it, hardly used it or used it, so now I'd like it gone to a better place that's going to get some more use from it.

So here we go....

Right, so as you can see quite a varied amount of kit and stuff, so..... What is it for clarity...

I bought some time back a mining rack which I put together and then never used for whatever reason I did that!! So, that's got to go... I'll see if I can get a better picture of it unhidden from all the stuff on it and possibly a link to what was bought.. Think it was Amazon..... Yep, it was!! Amazon Link According to the title, it will fit 8 GPUs on... :)

XSPC 4x120mm rad.. Think I had this from something I bought on ebay with a few other things, I've plenty of rads and such left laying about I'm not using as it is, so this can go :) I will test to see if this holds water before I send it out just to be 100% sure... I believe it might be fairly clean but I'd suggest to anyone having it, clean it before you use it!!

A Phobya 3x120mm rad. Something I had given to me that I've never even used. Can go :) I will test to see if this holds water before I send it out just to be 100% sure... I believe it might be fairly clean but I'd suggest to anyone having it, clean it before you use it!!

Corsair RM750 - Pretty standard stuff I think. I had this in my Synology server for about 5 years, never given me any issues or hassles. The cables I have are with the unit, I apologise if some aren't there but I don't have the box or anything else for it (long story I won't bore you all with) and I've bought replacements so, no longer needed :)

A working original Asus Crosshair motherboard. I believe it has a AM2 6000+ CPU in there and it does come with the back plate and obviously the cooler too. I'll see if I can find some DDR2 (I believe that's correct) and get it filled up with RAM for whoever wishes to have this one. Reason for selling is simples, I found one with a box, don't need two :D

A working original Asus Crosshair 5 Formula-Z board boxed! I again, had this for my collection, found another that was 100% complete (this one is missing the motherboard cardboard box so..... my CDO I had to grab another) and this one is also working last time I tried it. I'll see if I can find a CPU for it or if not I'll buy one along with some RAM (DDR3 I believe) so I'll make sure I can fill it up for whoever has this :)

Not giving away together but two EVGA 650W PSUs. Both working perfectly fine with boxes and all the cables. I've had these running in my Mrs's rig and a spare one, which I've now replaced so these can go. Obviously these are not brand new units and are a little older, but they have been working perfectly fine for me with my systems, I'll grab some pictures of these running and so on :)

Random cards that I've found in a box somewhere, no need for them and I've honestly no idea if they are 100% functional, but they can go..

Obviously everything will be wrapped up well and will be packaged to last a journey wherever its going to go so whoever has any of this, can be assured it will get to them in the condition its in. (I'll give everything a clean and test - motherboards and PSUs nothing more - before hand JUST to be safe and not waste your time or mine) so....

I'm going to maybe do a raffle with this kit, I'm not 100% certain yet, but I would like to do something for the members of TPU and more so our team so I'm going to try and get something sorted out for you guys as well :)

Any questions about any of the kit, please just ask away and don't be shy :) I'll try and get this stuff up and sorted for anyone who puts their name down/gets drawn, as I'd love some space back

Apologies for the long post, hope there's something there that someone can use!! :D

I will without hesitation, put you down for the Formula Z then mate!! If it doesn't get snapped up in the UK, we'll sort the postage out :) I think they have become a little pricey from what I remember looking around... Nothing ever seems as cheap as I remember it to be!!

Hi Phil first, thanks for the extraordinary giveaway.
I would like to shout up for a PSU, I have a system I could get up and running with my old 3800X in a crosshair 7 but I am without a PSU ATM, I have no preference since they all seem pretty sweet to me.
And yes that system will crunch and possibly fold if I can get one of a few GPU I have to work in it.
Or I finally upgrade my Vega (soon my precious, soon lol)

Oh and love some of that kit the big thermal Knight cooler rocks, I still have mine from its q6600 days but it's not in use, can't bin the beauty though, even though it's a dust magnet.

You pick and its yours :) The EVGA PSUs are complete so will come with all the cables, the Corsair unit sadly I think might be missing a few PCIe ones... I'll need to check to be 100%...

I don't mind sending a spare just in case either ;) Will save me having to walk to the post office

Don't get me wrong I'd love any of these parts as I have no means to purchase or find anything like it around here, but trying to import anything into this sh*thole would cost me both kidneys, that if the items aren't banned by customs, LOL.
Fun fact: importing ATARI game systems is completely forbidden under customs law.

Eh don't worry I'm not part of any folding teams anyway. Tried for a while but electricity costs have gone up 400% since then, had to undervolt everything right away and disable PBO, works fine but my monitor is a big power sucker, 180W. Might have to get rid of it before the year ends if the bill doesn't drops too much. Sad times for a CRT enjoyer.

Cool giveaway tho

Benchmark Scores are good
I'm not based in the UK, but if any of the PSUs are left I wouldn't mind one. My only spare PSU is a Thermaltake TR2 unit that I don't particularly trust.

sorry phill i meant 480 slip of the mouse i was so overwhelmed by you act of kindness which is quite rare to see nowa days i was distracted. i would love the the 480 mate please, if you could let me know the postage and how you would like paying mate.
Ain't no problem I just wanted to make sure you knew it wasn't a 420 and when it arrived it was a shock! lol We'll get it sorted out for you mate, ping me a PM, I'll get it sorted out tomorrow, try and get it too you for Saturday.
Your generousity shows Phill and is appreciated by all.

I'll just say it -If no one shows intertest in the old Crosshair board I may have a use for it.
Ear marked for you Bones :) We'll get a estimate for the postage to you no problems :)

I'm doing less crunching now but my god I was good for getting solar fitted to the house.. Up to 4kW of power free when its nice and sunny?? Heck yes, I'll have that and crunch and fold all I can!! :D Not so much with the Dell servers mind, christ, two of them combined would hit close to 900w together just on their own under load I'm sure.. Must be what its like having a 4090 in the PC......

Don't get rid of it, just keep it as a spare, the TFT screens aren't all that bad :) I remember moving over to them after my CRT, the resolution was half and they weren't all that cheap but flip they where about 1/6 of the weight!!

Thank you my man :) I seem to have way too much kit here, so time to get rid of stuff that I hope can go to a good home and be used :)

Well if no one else snaps it up, I'll have ear marked it for you. Which of the EVGA PSUs did you wish to have??
Proud of you mate :rockout:
Thanks mate, anything there you can make use of??

Installing solar too but it'll be 12V only bc I can't afford an inverter, they're expensive af and my panels are 600W anyway, it'll be just for lights and some small devices.
Doing a solar installation isn't just the panels, it's the panels, batteries, boxes, breakers, fuses, wiring, sockets and switches... and the work, chiseling walls to run the conduits and placing the boxes then covering everything again with concrete.

I might have underestimated the complexity of doing such a thing. But I'm not a big fan of surface mounted wiring, it just looks terrible unless it's a workshop or basement.

And I know why construction workers are jacked, cutting a line in a wall using a 6kg hammer while standing on a ladder requires some determination. Gonna end up with ripped arms after this, that's a nice extra. Oh, the extents I go to avoid paying someone else to do it.

Installing solar too
i miss my solar mine got took out by a storm earlier in the year lost 4 panels and a 3rd of the roof, the insurance fixed the roof in two weeks but are holding off paying me for my solar because Thay say its down to the company who fitted because the clips Thay used was substandard, but the company stopped trading 4 years ago so im at a miss what to do now.

Don't particularly have a preference, though if the G3 stays available I'd like that. Thank you so much!

That's a shame but at least it will help with the power :) Solar has become more expensive now as everyone wishes to have it but that only jacks up the prices for everyone trying to get it!! lol I've no idea what the inverter costs for me, but the system back in 2017 when I bought mine was about £4500 installed which I didn't think was bad and has helped massively with the rising power costs :)

Is there any other solar installers around that could help with the repair mate?? Seems such a time to get it done just because of the costs at the moment :( It's not a good time!!

we are looking at getting a whole new array on the ground this time shopping around for quotes and prob going to have to get a bank loan to do it but the last setup payed us back many times so im not too worried about the lay out of the cost.
