Dunno if this is a scientific test since I had another browser window open at the same time I was doing this (it was playing Granblue on auto ), but the middling score makes sense to me for a 5700X3D, so I'll share it anyways.

Alrighthy, did some more testing in light the Zen5 SMT enabled/disable review posted at Techpowerup
My 16core Zen5 in not affected by this but, so hopefully its just the 8core 9700X that need a fix

Tested the following:
Win11 VS Win10 = ~same score
SMT OFF VS SMT ON tested in both OS = ~same score
6600/2200 VS 8000/2200 = ~same score

But did update my scores with a higher OC

I managed to get this result by running it at least 10 times until I got a small deviation. you could probably get more with 6600mhz.
I have a stable 6400mhz on gear 1 CL32-40-40-102-115. this is using one of the Try It! profiles on my MSI motherboard, not using XMP which was slow with tRC 141, this is 115 which made quite a difference.

this passes memtest86 full test which ran for 6 hours 7 minutes 20 seconds. when I bought the machine in august it stayed in stock until now 4 months later. This has improved performance 19.7% and it's a real difference I can feel it in everyday apps.

I believe W11 is somehow performing worse than my good old Windows 10 installation, too many unaddressed bugs.

LOL. Dell OPTIPLEX i5-4590, 8 GB 1600.11 RAM (in DC), igpu. MS Edge is faster than Opera, wtf. (Of course, as "latest" Opera is "Opera One", so it should be full of cr*p...)
