Its stated that its a generic picture. It's here just for reference.

Wow this is awesome! Remember moar is betta! Dunno what that 'DDR3' thingy means but more of it is coool!! Where do I get one?!:roll:

Just think, this thing can play Crysis 2 maxed out on DX11 at 2560x1600 at 1 frame per second, without ever having to access main memory! Oh wow, I so want one!!!!

Now to design a DVI to SATA adapter and write a CUDA app to RAID a pair of drives and cache the data in it's large buffer.

Point of view, there is no point to put 4Gb ram in this card.

You know, thinking about it, as ridiculous as sticking 4 gigs on this thing is, it might have an indirect benefit: it might help to introduce high end cards with extra memory, which is likely to be more useful.

Also, if lower end cards have lots of RAM, perhaps games developers might start taking advantage of it leading to better graphics, although this is probably a long shot.

It has more memory, but I'm sure a 1GB GDDR5 model will kick its ass. Even a 160sp HD 6450 512MB GDDR5 gives my laptop's 400sp HD 5650 1GB DDR3 a run for its money.

no comparison between laptop and desktop. my 4650 crushes any laptops 5650.

and 4gb? will this be usefull in AutoCAD and other CAD softwares?

YAY! Now i can play Crysis 2 with the DX11 graphics update at 2560x1920 on 3 monitors with 16xAA and 16xAF at a whopping 30 Frames per HOUR

this card would have made more sense if it were a workstation gpu instead of a standard consumer gpu.
