Can you say what is voltage thats not safe to exceed on HD 7970 cards (and withCHL822x VRM overall)
It seems that my 1200MHz did crash with 1.250V My target was 1200MHz-1225MHz.
If you crash even with bumping the voltage up, you have reached the treshold of the card (maybe VRM, maybe chip). My card on 1.281 V doesn't go over 63 °C and the VRMs go to about 65 °C, so I think it's safe to say you should go back to the last stable result you've had.
