RX580 with Adrenalin 18.2.1 and Radeon Overlay pops up with Alt +R but not with Performance Monitoring or Chill.
Any ideas on how to enable these in the overlay? Thanks.

Were they there and you lost them ?
they may not have Installed with the last upgrade ( ie click to enable/dis enable on install Option ).

just checked mine :) and mine shows only 2 modules
they are color and Radeon FRTC.
Did not chose to install Relieve so thats why it don't show as a module in mine
I| do not have freesynce card or monitor or card so that module was not installed

They were never there.
I may try a DDU driver uninstall then reinstall Adrenaline.

I'm confused...ALT+R is for Relive recording. To bring up the performance monitor, use ALT+Shift+O (letter O, not 0 zero...)

I believe @fullinfusion maybe on vacation for now, find another Vangard Team member and report your findings

ctrl+shift+R is record start and stop..

Alt+R brings up the overlay..

But something is weird here because there's times I cant bring up the over lay unless I open the driver and select gaming> global settings > Performance monitoring... By doing that then the OL works..
Fill out a bug report on the AMD site.. They look at all issues and we also see issues and stream line them through our leader..

Oh I thought you were trying to get the performance monitor overlay to work...oops lol.
Mine works but still does not show CPU usage in any game.
My overlay also works fine with my R9 290.

Yes. Does yours not work as well? All the other things on my performance monitor overlay work.

The performance overlay works great in game and I'm impressed with the ReLive recording quality.

It's the Alt+R desktop panel overlay that isn't showing the correct (Performance and Chill) items still, which is a tad puzzling.

EDIT
Scratch that!
According to AMD's overview '
Radeon Overlay In-Game menu provides two additional choices, which are:
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Radeon Chill
So those two options only appear in-game. Apologies for leading people astray.

Mine works but I choose not to use it. I use an iPad mini and take advantage of AMD link as it shows everything I want and choose to see.

Latest gpu-z is 50/50 to record memory with vega so I dumped it and just use AMD link... I personally don't like anything except the game on my display.

Thanks for the tip on AMD link. Nifty app.

Ok, I got a question. The options to hide the overlay are confusing. What are the steps to turn on the overlay in-game? Not interested in logging much at the moment. Is Alt-R part of turning it on/off?

I can't remember. I think you can just enable the performance monitor in the AMD driver app. When in game, just hit Shift+Ctrl+O...or Shift+Alt+O (Can't remember off-hand..) to bring up the performance monitor.
