IE 3.0 does +-450 dpi, like the original ms wmo1.1a, which are some of the best mice ever made, even for gaming when oc'd to 500hz. I know guys that have been using the wmo1.1a for gaming for like 10 years now and they still work perfectly. I have had razer products back in a a day (DA is the best razer mouse btw) and these lasted like 1 year... (crappy polystyrene shell)

The only company that does quality mice atm is zowie (mico is bad tho). I have my zowie am @450dpi even for the desktop (1920*1080). Logitech has quite nice build quality, but their mice always have some issue that bothers me (jittery sensor, sensor accel, mouse is too heavy, sensor has angle snapping...). Steel series products were kinda good back in a day... Used roccat before (terrible sensors and bad build quality).

Sensors with extremelly high dpi are usually more sensitive to surface "deffects" on the mouse pad, and tend to have strange sensor behaviour.

Agreed, Zowies are awesome, I have the FK.

to be honest I even have a 15 eur Logitech mouse which is a beast, 600 dpi and it beats for sure the Razer Naga POS I had.

I just got used to 2400 dpi few months back.

I thought I would never go beyond 1600.

5600 is a bit ridiculous.

That's nothing my thermal take level 10 is 8200 DPI. I use 4200 with a low sensitivity.

I use any thing from 2000-3200 DPI. Like in windows 3200 DPI is good for me and in say arma 3 unless using a sniper rifle then i use the button on the mouse to go down too 2000DPI.

So yes and no i like having more than 2000 DPI but i don't need 5600 DPI.
