Any drivers for XP 64-bit? I got an ALC1200 to deal with.

In the R2.17 pack, just run the setup.

You got anything like a equalizer? (Realtek or MS control panel) if you have, not being able to use the X-Fi software is no real loss.

No, none of that.
Man I feel so good right now, I pretty much got a 100$ sound card for free lol

I'll see if I can hoodwink a 10 band equalizer into the driver somehow. Not sure how though.

vista64 drivers work, x-fi software works in vista too

What do I take a screen shot of?

I was talking to mrhuggles :p

Oh well I'm interested to see how he got everything working.. Now we just need a keygen for this fizzbitch.

Seems to have installed properly for me vista x64.

As of yet the controls and everything appear identical to realtek's drivers, I'll have to give the speakers and mic a good workout soon for some real testing. T'would be awesome if you could get some equalizer in there, that's something I've really missed in vista.

How did you get there?

Make that your mission, to find one ;) then tell me when you do :D

I will indeed try. Might be simpler than it seems, but we shall see.

i knew the x-fi cards where crap but man if its ALL software then that is a rip off for most people

not to say onboard sound is shit but a sound card should be better and its a disgrace that it isnt

so we get more quality sound for free curtsy of ketxxx the legend himself

Correct ;) Its why I slam Creative every chance I get. The Xonar is a much better soundcard than Creative (or as I fondly call them; Crapative) could ever hope to produce. Nevermind the excellent driver updates Asus have and even firmware updates!

does all the enhancements come from the (driver+utility) i mean any body notice any enhancement with only the modded driver (i wish since its free & i'm still downloading) all in all amazing job Ketxxx.

You can get basic enhancements with just the driver, but the creative utility gives you the advanced stuff like the crystalizer and equalizer. We need a "workaround" for the creative utility still though.

I'll search and if found something i'll PM you.

oops i jumped the gun, the software is not working properly. this is very interesting tho... how long until they start selling this for everybody to use?
whatever you do don't buy an activation lol

Dude, Asus suck at making drivers for the Xonar cards! I bought a Xonar D2 (the pci one) as soon as it got out - and its quite a long time since they released new drivers for it! But the Asus Xonar Essence STX get driver updates, cause its new. So asus's audio driver department stinks nearly as much as Creative's driver department.

Same here. I cant get software to work either with vista 64. Drivers work though

No they don't. The drivers work perfectly on the Asus cards, unlike crapatives drivers

I think its a crapative issue. Only solution atm is to wait for a newer version of the software.

Im gonna try this later on tonight and let you know, thanks Ketxxx.
