Morning,

I'm not sure what is happening here. But RealTemp is only show 3 cores. Whilst XP task manager is showing activity on all 4 cores.

CPU-Z shows 4 cores. Validation ID 1208202.

Basic information
EVGA nForce 790i SLI FTW
Intel Q6700
OCZ 2gB - OCZ3F13332G (2 sticks)

I have not overclocked anything yet. Also, I have attached screenshots for what I am seeing with RealTemp.

Thanks!

Hello,

I have not. I'm using version 340. I will give that a try later today.

Thanks.

I downloaded v300, and it shows all 4 cores. So it appears that there is a problem with v340.

At least now, I know that my feeble mind is still running around and I have not lost it. ;-)

Thanks!!

You were using Realtemp GT. Made for Gulftown Processors. Could of been the problem.

The actual executable's name is "RealTempGT.exe". So it does appear that I downloaded the GT version.

The file that I downloaded was named "RealTemp_340.zip", and was downloaded from "techPowerUp! US-4".

I am up and running with the right executable. There are 2 RealTemp executables in the original ZIP file that I download.

My apologies for the confusion.
