When I was younger, I really wanted to be involved with computers but the tides of time took me away for many years. When I reached 40, I started to get back into the fun stuff but struggled with understanding all the new technology and wondered if my opportunity had passed. Then one day Google pointed me this old pom mixing it up with the young uns and I followed and watched (lurked), eventually being convinced that maybe I could do this.

Ultimately, I joined TPU and purchased the necessary parts to build my first rig. Wow that wasnt even that long ago (2 years I think) but I've come a long way since. It was you that I first found, and you that inspired me Tatty and it kind of saddens me that the only thing I can offer in return is this heartfelt thanks.

Best of luck, and keep those slippers warm. :toast:
