Hi guys , so i'm in search of an optical mouse, playing moba / fps(no need for that sniper button) ,
prefer it -- corded(braided), smallish and not tall -- just like sensei body, the only reason to not go for sensei is because i have one and it does weird problems
(mouse wheel problem and i want the buttons left-right to be pressed with equal force at all of their surface, which sensei fails at).
So, these are the mice i'm looking at but please let me know for any other and please point out any problems, if found, for these.
Listed in what i think is better:

1) Logitech G303 (g302 has some tilt problems + this one has better sensor)
2) Steelseries Rival
3) Zowie fk1 (prefer not from zowie because i can't find it locally but if it's the best one then i will go for it)
4) Corsair sabre
5) Corsair M45
6) Logitech G402

If i'm missing anything or you heard/had any problems with those please let me know.
Thanks!

Because the mouse (and keyboard) are extensions of our own hands, what feels good to me may feel horrible to you. So you really have to visit your local computer stores and feel for yourself. All anyone can really advise you on is build quality, features and performance - all important, but it still has to feel right in your own hand.

I've been using wireless for so long, I am afraid I have no advice on any corded but no doubt someone will come by to add their input here.

I have the G502 and it's really good. G402 looks pretty similar... It lacks few buttons and no weights (which I removed all anyway, it's heavy enough for me as is). What I value a lot is the software and the one Logitech provides is really good as well.

would you consider Razer's mice range at all?

Razer's mice are terrible. They all, after a while, start double clicking when you single click. Though that can be good for FPS games.

I have the logitech g602 (wireless) and it does an AMAZING job on battery life. Ive changed the batteries once in two months.

Zowie FK1 It can take some abuse, the sensor is on that "perfect sensor list" and the shape good! I have used and abused a zowie am for years now and it still holds strong!

No i won't consider razer because of my experience with their mice is horrible , i gone ahead and ordered the g502, i hope it wont break like this one,
Thanks all for your replies ! :)

aha..I only replied to say 'mice' to piss RejZor off.

on topic - my experience with logitech are not that good and I would prefer a razer over logitech's offers.

I got a G700,G700s, and a G502 and I love all 3

I have 2 razer Nagas my brother also has a Naga. I've never had double clicking issues neither has he. However Razer Synapse use the same files as Mumble so if you use Mumble you will get some weird behavior when you start Mumble up but that last only a couple seconds.

I have the G402, and while functionally it's OK, during intense use, if I lift up the mouse at all, esp while having to hold both L&R mouse buttons, like with the Agony Crossbow in TEW, I often accidentally click one of the thumb buttons.

My hands are a bit larger than average though, and Logi mice are a bit on the small side. For this reason I may go with another brand next time.

All my 4 Razer mouses failed all with double click syndrome and had to ship them back for RMA which cost even more money, at least with Logitech you prove your issue with the mouse they typically just send you a new one.

How ever watch out on the warranty side as it can be 1-3 years.

Best thing you can do is visit some stores, other wise ROCCAT are bringing out a new mouse soonish which the side buttons can be customized.

I may be alone, but I've NEVER experienced the Razer double click issue. Maybe I'm just gentle to my mouse, but it doesn't seem like it...

I won't deny it seems they are built cheaply (and their RMA system is suck), but my Razer Deathadder 2013 has held up for a very long time. I probably just got lucky.

My friend had the double click issue with the naga , i had a razer mice which i don't recall its name which had
problems with middle click. Also i heard lots of people with problem with razer products so i'm gonna skip on that.

I dont use Mumble. Ive used it maybe once in the past. Didnt like it. Better alternatives out there like Curse now. Regardless, the problem I had it in specifically was Deathadders.

It's only their mice Ive had issues with. I have a Razer keyboard and headphones which I love and dont have any issues with those.

Well i have a blackwidow here, it's had it's issue's but i find the cherry switches very sentitive, i had 2 keys that spammed so i used a cotton bud with some isopropyl and cleaned as much as possible on the sides of the switch and even though it worked i could not even see any dirt or any thing on the cotton bud. As typing this and testing it it does it with the w key every so often.

Would i buy another ?, hell no as the key caps just suck ass they go all shiny warn looking and on top of that the fonts suck ass.
