[FS] Seller Forgotten_Realms, Disappeared.. Still owes me Money!!

I paid him Via paypal, with money i had in paypal. He refunded me the original 500.. so i could send the money to his other paypal, but i told him i coulnt because resend the money because the refund would take 3-4 days to get back in my account... so i ended up just paypal him again another 500 this time from my bank account. Once i caught wiff that something fishy with him was going on, i called my bank and had them do ACH to my account to stop the payment to paypal, since i called paypal and told them this guy is a scammer.. all they gave me wa "Sorry to hear that" what jerks paypal.. they wouldnt cancel the payment to him either.

I've talked to DH about it, and Nflesher and contact few other mods on these forums see what can be done.

File a claim with paypal, if he cannot provide a tracking number for verification that he sent you a package they will refund you. Start a dispute enter all the information you have, tell them you have emails to confirm, and immediately escalate it to a claim.

That should at least get you your money back.

Well the problem is now its been so long i dont think i can, plus i already did file a claim with paypal then ended up cancelling the claim since he refunded me 250 and promised another 250 in return via MO's because he had already withdrew the money out of paypal

You should know what his information is. Did you report him to the police?

*On his heatware he was a good seller/trader up until the last two transactions. Possibly something has happened to him?

says hes banned over there, i made a deal with him before but he sent me everything before he got a dime he had 0 heat then he got around and got some guys to make him some heat so I would pay before he shipped, I told him NO WAY, look at his heat before I made mine both who gave him a eval had 1 eval each so I took that as he may have made the evals himself. "Not since he got banned nobodies seen or heard from him, your not the only person that's had this problem we've seen it coming at us from several forums.

He's from Missouri, I'm from Missouri, trust me if you turn him into his local police they'll square him away.

Im wondering if anyone who has dealt with this guy has heard back from? I was intending to buy his computer until he tried to pull something shady on me.... He ended only refunding $250 + 2600XT for a total of 295.. of the 500 i paid him, he still owes me $205 and now it has been 2-3 Months.... Last i heard from him was 2 months ago saying he was selling some stuff to pay me back then he disappeared and i havent heard from him again.

Long story short, im out $200 which to me is alot.. as i currently dont have work.. needless to say im not too happy...

Anyone else out there who has dealt with him have similar troubles or heard from him?

Go through the thread and tell us where your name is mentioned, or where you could find reference to you. Give us a clue about how your being 55 and disabled have anything to do with the larger issue.

We made an agreement.

I pay him 500 bucks + Ship him a decent computer In return he'll send His computer. Well i paid him the $500 he made the billing information.

First he tells me he'll refund me my 500 because the paypal account he told me to send it too he still had to "setup" so he refunds me my 500, tells me to send it to a different e-mail address.

So i resend him the $500. A day later he tells me his wife doesnt want him to give up the monitor(the package deal) and says he doesnt want to take the decent computer i was going to ship him. He offers me to spend $175 more to get the whole computer minus the monitor. I say no because we already made a deal and that included the monitor.

Well He said he'll refund me when he gets the money back in his account because he already transferred it out. I havent heard back from him since and i noticed when checking paypal
the two paypal e-mails have different names one is "myron Todd" the other "Roger Hampton"

So it was Myron Todd and Roger Hampton. Most likely fake names at fake addresses that funneled the money to the actual scammer's Paypal and then into his bank account.

Xazax I feel your pain. About two years ago I bought a torque converter for $300 off of a forum I used to visit. The guy had made plenty of posts and had good reviews as a seller on another site, never-the-less I never got the converter or my money back. It left me with a bitter taste in my mouth even to this day.

Im a pack rat,saved the usps reciept where I sent this scammer avideo card- posted it back on usps website they said they will send me full info within 4 hours, the roger hampton sounds familiar and this reciept was sent to Cape Girardeau, MO 63703

May be the seller or buyer needs to be Paypal verified? Must leave a valid phone number and both parties need to talk to see if the person is real and may be proceed. But still you can't make the person send things after getting money.
